1. Data controller
EARLY FORGE VENTURE STUDIO LLC is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact for all data-protection matters: info@earlyforgestudios.com.
2. What data we process, and why
- Contact-form data (name, email, optional company, message) — processed to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to messages you choose to send us, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into any relationship (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
- Technical/log data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) — processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not process special categories of personal data, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Processors and recipients
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting and content delivery.
- FormSubmit — relay of contact-form submissions to our email inbox.
- Google LLC (USA) — delivery of web fonts (Google Fonts).
4. International transfers
Our providers are primarily based in the United States. Where data of EU/UK residents is transferred internationally, our providers rely on recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, per their published policies.
5. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We apply security headers, keep data collection to a minimum, and restrict access to inquiry emails to the people who need them to respond. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your data.
6. Retention
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up, then delete them. Provider log data is retained per each provider's standard retention schedule.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy (portability).
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to, or request restriction of, our processing.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (EU/UK) or your state attorney general (US).
To exercise any right, email info@earlyforgestudios.com. We will verify your request and respond within the legally required timeframe (one month under GDPR; 45 days under CCPA).
